tempDelete-newContentJune2025

The online format of the Science of Early Child Development (SECD) means we can regularly make updates to the content. Every license/subscription holder automatically has access to the latest information.

Readings and links to websites, reports, and other resources are updated on an ongoing basis to ensure accuracy and currency.

To allow new updated interviews on the main SECD pages, we have begun to “archive” some older interviews.  We recognize the continued value of these interviews so have not deleted them but rather have included them on the “Additional SECD Information Page” at the end of each module. You will notice the first of these archived videos in the Ecology and Developmental Health modules, as well as in the Child Development Primer.

While SECD updates are made on an ongoing basis, occasionally we undertake a more substantial review and refresh of a resource, and this has recently been completed with the Child Development Primer. Some pages have been renamed – others have been consolidated. All pages have some revised content and most have additions such as new “Considers”, interviews and videos of childrenInteractive quizzes have been added at the bottom of each page.

The chart below summarizes the most significant changes.
